Louis Vuitton Women's Cruise 2026 Show #LVCRUISE26

Nicolas Ghesquière has presented his Louis Vuitton Women’s Cruise 2026 Collection from the Palais des Papes in Avignon, France, — one of the most iconic examples of still-standing Gothic medieval architecture across Europe, on Thursday May 22, 2025.

Louis Vuitton takes center stage in the Cour d'Honneur of the Palais des Papes in Avignon, where passions play out during the city’s celebrated theater festival. This setting represents a new kind of journey for the House, which has supported the arts since its founding.

The Cruise 2026 collection explores the performative aspect of clothing, its inherent artistic value, its narrative force, and the emotional power it unleashes. A cultural laboratory for all forms of expression, the Cour d'Honneur inspired Louis Vuitton to reflect on the charisma of a wardrobe and the imagery it conjures.

Whether for everyday or exceptional occasions, clothing has the power — as we all know from experience — to transform mood, appearance, and character: to play an essential supporting role.

LV Women's Cruise 2026 feature a blend of medieval and glam-rock influences, with theatrical silhouettes, intricate embroidery, and luxurious fabrics, and a mix of medieval-inspired shapes, including voluminous blouses, dresses, and capes, alongside more modern, structured pieces like leather jackets and mini-skirts.

The Palais des Papes in Avignon, a former papal residence, served as the backdrop for the show, highlighting the performative power of fashion and the collection's historical references.

Fresh off of Conclave, this the UNESCO World Heritage Site felt fitting for the eclectic designs of artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière.
